Avaya phones have been designed to be a powerful tool for day-to-day usage and have been adapted to specific group of users.

  • Digital Phones - are designed to be used in a traditional office environment.

  • Attendant Console - are designed to meet the requirements of the attendant. The terminal has a large number of buttons to have easy access to the features of the DEFINITY.

  • IP Phones - are designed for traditional office environment. They use the converged IP LAN-infrastructure to connect to the DEFINITY.

Products

  • 2402 DCP Telephone - a new, cost effective 2-wire digital telephone, for general office applications and designed to compliment the 2420 executive telephone set. The 2402 has a 2 x 24 display with two label-less call appearances, a Listen-Only Speaker, 9 Fixed Feature Keys: Conference, Transfer, Drop, Redial, Speaker, Message, Hold, Mute, Volume Up & Down, and Feature (to access 12 additional dial pad features). The 2402 is Hearing Aide Compatible, has a Message Waiting Indicator that flashes when ringing, 8 Personalized Ring Patterns and is either desk or wall mountable.

  • 2420 Digital Telephone - The Avaya 2420 digital telephone sports an array of convenient features, while supporting expansion capabilities and effective integration with current infrastructure investments. With this telephone, customers get a large-scale display for easy viewing and call control with 24 call appearance/feature buttons. Administration and ongoing maintenance is simplified as key/button labelling is performed automatically by the switch. This eliminates the time-consuming and laborious task of using paper labels to denote phone features, and reduces costs when moving phones among users or offices. Online access to electronic downloads give near-instant access for key product upgrades and feature enhancements as they occur. Additional features such as call logging and a speed-dial directory help enhance overall productivity by giving customers’ workforce the tools for more effective call tracking and faster outbound calling capabilities.

  • 4600 Series IP Telephones - The 4600 Series Telephone Sets are a new product platform of terminals supporting Avaya Enterprise Class IP Solutions, or Avaya ECLIPS products. Initially, three new terminals known as the 4606, 4612, and 4624 will be developed as IP endpoints for the DEFINITY Enterprise Communications System (ECS) in all related configurations (G3csi, G3si and G3r), DEFINITY One and IP600 Communications Server. The IP Telephones will also work in conjunction with an R300 Remote Office Communicator in a remote office scenario.

  • 6400 Digital Terminals - The 6400 digital voice terminals are designed for global use with any of the DEFINITY® Offers using DEFINITY G3V3 software Release 6.1 or later.

    Exceptions:
    1. The display on the 6402D terminal requires a DEFINITY Release 6.3 software load to function.
    2. The 6408D+, 6416D+M, and 6424D+M terminals used on a DEFINITY System require a DEFINITY R6.3.1 software load (International Consolidation load) or the display does not function.
    The 6400 series terminals only work in a 2-wire environment. They must be connected behind the 2-wire circuit packs TN2181 (16-port) digital line circuit card or the TN2224 (24-port) digital line circuit card. The 6400 terminals do NOT work in a 4-wire environment nor with any DEFINITY switch release prior to G3V3 Release 6.1. They can not be aliased as another terminal type.
