Audio Conferencing Solution:
THE ACS 60
An entry-level platform in the ACS family, The ACS 60 is simply the easiest and most secure conferencing solution for small businesses. The ACS 60 works with the existing phone system, making it a natural extension of a business. The plug-and-play solution installs in minutes and requires limited maintenance and administration. It also supports global telephone system standards, so it can be deployed in offices around the world. Conferences can be assembled in an instant, allowing business to be conducted with colleagues, suppliers, and remote staff-no matter where they are in the world. It is as easy to access as voice mail - just need a telephone number, conference ID and PIN to hold or participate in a conference. And it's fully automated - no operators or advanced scheduling are necessary
THE ACS 500/1100
The Avaya Audio Conferencing Solution includes the necessary hardware, software, and conference management products required to establish and operate successful audio conferences. The solution consists of two complementary systems, the Avaya Audio Conferencing System (ACS) that sets up and manages conference calls and the Internet Meeting Manager (IMM) that automates the reservation process and directs the ACS.
- Audio Conferencing System (ACS)
- Internet Meeting Manager (IMM)
The ACS and IMM modules are standard with all Audio Conferencing Systems.
HIGHLIGHTS
The Avaya Audio Conferencing System (ACS) and Internet Meeting Manager (IMM) facilitates multiple locations to participate in an audio and data conference. The Avaya ACS has been developed on a CompactPCI Platform to deliver superior telecom reliability. The Avaya ACS offers a number of industry leading features and capabilities, such as, the hot-swap components, DSP fail-over protection, high port density, and superior flexibility. The Avaya IMM offers a complete web-based reservation and management system for the ACS.
The Avaya ACS is available in two models. The ACS500 is targeted at small to mid-sized enterprise customers with audio conferencing capacities ranging from 24 to 576 ports. The ACS 1100 is targeted at large enterprise customers and service providers. Both models have the same features and functionality and are based on the highly reliable CompactPCI architecture.
AVAYA INTERNET MEETING MANAGER (IMM)
Internet Meeting Manager is the primary conference controller for the ACS. Users access IMM through a web browser that supports JavaScript, forms, and tables. In general, this includes Netscape 2.02 and later, as well as Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 and later. Internet Explorer 2.0 is NOT supported, as it does not provide forms and table support.
IMM will give ACS end-users enhanced ability to view and manage conferences, and provides conference material management. IMM supports two levels of clients: “Users” who can attend conferences and view documents associated with them, and “Schedulers” who can schedule conferences as well. Once a conference has been scheduled, IMM supports attaching documents to a conference. These documents might be an agenda, conference slides, or any other relevant material. The administrator can specify how long the documents remain posted and the maximum size for all posted documents in a conference.
